滂沱大雨雖擾人，但也有用之處。最近美國與香港研究人員攜手，想要研究這項常被人忽略的自然現象發電潛力，最終研製出水滴發電機（droplet-based electricity generator，DEG），可產生140伏特電壓，足以點亮100盞LED。
